These are my flyer & Ticket for 'The Celebration' at Shepherds Bush Empire, it was a fantastic evening! a real once in a lifetime experience, the atmosphere was electric!
Golders Green Cremetorium 16th Of September 2007
The 16th of September at Golders Green was a very special day this year, made even more so by Gloria & her husband Chris being in attendance, also in attendance from Marc's family were, Marc's brother Harry & his wife Sandy, his cousin Caroline, Aunite Eva & Auntie Betty, there was a wonderful memorial service addressed beautifully by Barry, the service was later addressed by Rabbi Henry Goldstein, who officiated at Marc's funeral on the 20th of September 1977, there were also tributes, poetry reading & musical contributions from Tyrannosaurus Jed & Dave Appleyard, & a wonderful address from Gloria. After the memorial service we were led to the grassy Crocus area & Gloria with the rest of Marcs family released 12 white doves, just beautiful, you can't put it into words, This is an occasion I will never forget, even the tea rooms were adorned with pictures of Marc & a stunning life size cut-out & written tribute.
The footage opposite is of Gloria & Marcs family releasing 12 white Doves, to represent the 12 Albums that he released in his lifetime, it was beautiful & very moving, I am sorry its only a short piece of footage, this was due to my camera batteries running out of juice

Marc's 60th Birthday Bash! Cafe De Paris, London 30th September 2007
This was a fabulous bop! celebrating what would have been Marcs 60th birthday, with some really unusual acts, Hmmm! including a dwarf opening a bottle of beer with his eye!, oooh that must have hurt!, the venue was decorated beautifully with a slide show of Marc projected onto sillouettes either side of the stage, gorgeous!. Boy George was there too singing some of Marcs songs, although my personal fav was Catherine Ellis, what a voice! her rendition of Teenage Dream was fantastic, plus other great performances from, Pam Hogg, Dr Haze, Les Rita Mitsouko, Melpomeni from the medeavel Beabes,Sabatian Horsley,Clifford Slapper, Jeremy Reed, Erreur Fatale Feat, Luca Mainardi, Graham Roos & not forgetting Jeff Dexter, what a lovely man! it was a shame that Gloria & Rolan couldn't make it, there was even a bolan vogue look a like competition! which was great fun, well done to Mark who won! in all a brilliant night! Tanx to Delf & Kaz for the photos!
